Koka (可口; Kěkǒu) is a brand of instant noodle, manufactured by Tat Hui Foods Pte. Ltd. - a company founded in Singapore in 1986. The noodles are available in a variety of flavours, as packets or cup noodles. Manufacturing and packaging is done at Tat Hui's factory in Jurong, Singapore. They are sold within Singapore, and since 1987 have been exported to markets in Europe, America and Australia.[1] Along with the Sanwa noodle brand, Tat Hui exports over 100 million packets a year,[2] and are a leading brand in Ireland, behind Unilever's Pot Noodle, where they are distributed by Boyne Valley Foods.[3]

Manufacturing

Manufacturing and packaging is done at Tat Hui's factory in Jurong, Singapore. The noodles are air-dried rather than deep-fried in the usual Asian manner. In the United Kingdom version of their products, the flavouring powder contains monosodium glutamate.[4]
