Lakeport State Park is a state park in St. Clair County, Michigan. It is located on the shore of Lake Huron. The park is split into two sections on either side of the Village of Lakeport. Two campgrounds, a beach and the camp store are on the north side of the village. A picnic area and beach are on the south side.

History

Lakeport State Park was created out of a former United Auto Workers retreat camp. In 1962, the Port Huron Statement was completed and announced at the park.[1]
