Lavagno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) west of Venice and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,222 and an area of 14.6 square kilometres (5.6 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Lavagno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Briccio, San Pietro, and Vago.
Lavagno borders the following municipalities: Caldiero, Colognola ai Colli, Illasi, Mezzane di Sotto, and San Martino Buon Albergo.
