Miss Universe Switzerland is a national Beauty pageant in Switzerland.
History
Between 1953 and 2013 the winners of Miss Switzerland went to Miss Universe pageant. In 2014 the winner had been selected by appointing in model agency in Switzerland. Began in 2016 the Miss Universe Switzerland contest winner will compete at the Miss Universe pageant. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a runner-up is sent.
New promoter Veeranda Aeberli received a mandate to be a director of Miss Universe in Switzerland. Before Miss Universe Switzerland, Miss Switzerland sent its winner to the Miss Universe.[1]
