The Parliament of Senegal (French: Parlement du Sénégal) is the country's unicameral national parliament.

History

The parliament was bicameral from 1999 to 2001 and from 2007 to 2012, when the otherwise unicameral National Assembly of Senegal was only the parliament's lower house, with the indirectly elected Senate being the upper house. The Senate was abolished again in September 2012.[1][2][3][4]
