The Sarawak People's Energy Party (Malay: Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak, abbreviated TERAS) was a political party in Malaysia. It is a relatively new party, was among the latest 20 new parties registration approved by the Registrar of Society (RoS) and just received permission to operate as a political party in 2013.[1][2]

Sarawak People's Energy Party (TERAS) as a new formed political party is pro-Barisan Nasional (BN) in Sarawak is a splinter party of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) set-up by its disgruntled leaders.[3] However the hopes of TERAS of joining BN has been rejected by the coalition.[3] Arrangement is being made between TERAS and SPDP of Barisan Nasional for the division of seats to be contested in the Sarawak state election, 2016.[4]
