Prince Aymeric of Belgium (Aymeric Auguste Marie; born 13 December 2005, in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert) is the third child of Prince Laurent and Princess Claire of Belgium. He is currently 15th in the line of succession after his two older siblings to the Belgian throne.

Family and early life

He has an older sister, Princess Louise (born 2004), and an older twin brother, Prince Nicolas of Belgium.

Prince Aymeric was born prematurely at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Belgium. He was born at the time of 18:55 and weighed 2210 grams at birth.[1]

The Prince is currently attending the same school as his sister and brother, which is the Lycée Français de Bruxelles, in which he is in the third year.[2]

On 29 May 2014, he and his brother Prince Nicolas made their first communion at Sainte-Catherine Bonlez, a district of Chaumont-Gistoux in the province of Walloon Brabant, with the royal family in attendance.[3][4]
