Saïd Amara (born 11 March 1933) is an Algerian former football player and manager.

Playing career

Born in Saïda, Amara played club football for MC Saïda, USM Bel-Abbès, Strasbourg, Béziers and Bordeaux.[1] He also earned five caps for the Algerian national team the between 1963 and 1964.[1]

He spent time with the FLN football team in 1960, and received death threats upon his return to Bordeaux.[2]

Coaching career

Amara managed the Algerian national team.[3]
