Scholten, Missouri
Scholten is an unincorporated community in Barry County, Missouri, United States, located 18 miles (29 km) northeast of Cassville. Its elevation is 1,378 feet (420 m), and it is located at 36°50′59″N 93°37′47″W / 36.84972°N 93.62972°W (36.8497821, -93.6296399).[1] It is located just north of Route 248 on Missouri Route D.
A post office called Scholten was established in 1886, and remained in operation until 1919.[2] The community has the name of the local Scholten family.[3]
