Sim Woo-Yeon (Hangul: 심우연; Hanja: 沈禹姸; born 3 April 1985) is a South Korean football player who has played for Seongnam FC since 2013. He formerly played for FC Seoul and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. His preferred position is as a center back however he can also operate in a striker. He was assigned as the candidate of 2011 AFC Champions league Best 11 due to his performance as central defender.
