Stobie, California

Stobie is a former settlement in Modoc County, California.^[1] It was located 2.5 miles (4 km) south of Hackamore.^[1]

A post office operated at Stobie from 1897 to 1903, when service was transferred to Hackamore.^[1] The name honors Violet Stobie, its first postmaster.^[1]
