Visa requirements for Nagorno-Karabakh citizens

Visa requirements for Nagorno-Karabakh citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of the Nagorno-Karabakh.

Validity

As Nagorno-Karabakh is not recognised by the majority of nations of the world (with the exceptions of Abkhazia, South Ossetia and the Transnistria, all of which are also mostly unrecognised), a Nagorno-Karabakh passport is not valid for travel to most countries in the world. As dual nationality is permitted, most people affected are entitled to either a Transnistrian or Armenian passport for travel abroad.

Transnistrian passport can only be used to travel to South Ossetia[1] and Transnistria[2]

Nagorno-Karabakh signed a visa-waiver agreement with Abkhazia on 22 February 2016 and the agreement went into effect on 1 April 2016.[3]
