The Hoosiers finished the regular season with an overall record of 18-8 and a conference record of 10-4, finishing 1st in the Big Ten Conference. As Big Ten Conference Champions, Indiana was invited to play in the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers lost in the Mideast Regional Semifinals, but then went on to beat Tennessee, 51-44, to win Regional Third Place.[1]
