Bazhong Enyang Airport is an airport scheduled to be constructed to serve the city of Bazhong in China's southwestern Sichuan province. It will be located in Xinglongchang Township, Enyang District, about 31 kilometres (19 mi) by road from the city center.[1]
The airport received approval from the State Council and the Central Military Commission of China on 3 July 2014. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2015, and the airport is expected to open in 2020.[1]
Facilities
Bazhong Airport will be a class 4C airport, with a 2,600-meter runway. It is projected to handle 300,000 passengers annually.[1]
