Wuzhou Xijiang Airport (Chinese: 梧州西江机场) is an airport being built to serve the city of Wuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is located Tangbu Town, Teng County, near the Xijiang River. The airport received approval from the State Council of China on 29 June 2014.[1]
The airport is expected to open in 2017. Upon completion it will replace the existing Wuzhou Changzhoudao Airport. The projected total investment is 1.479 billion yuan.[1]
Facilities
The airport will have a 2,600-meter runway (class 4C) and a 8,000-square-meter terminal building. It is projected to handle 750,000 passengers and 6,000 tons of cargo annually by 2025.[1]
