Cote Sans Dessein, Missouri

Cote Sans Dessein is an extinct town in Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.

The first settlement at Cote Sans Dessein was made in 1803 by a colony of French traders.[1] Cote Sans Dessin is a name derived from the French meaning "hill without design".[2] A post office was established at Cote Sans Dessein in 1818, and remained in operation until 1907.[3]
