Fontanelice is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,884 and an area of 36.6 square kilometres (14.1 sq mi).[1]
