Minerbio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northeast of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,249 and an area of 43.0 square kilometres (16.6 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Minerbio contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ca' De' Fabbri, Capo d'Argine, San Martino in Soverzano (o dei Manzoli), San Giovanni in Triario, Spettoleria, and Tintoria.
Minerbio borders the following municipalities: Baricella, Bentivoglio, Budrio, Granarolo dell'Emilia, Malalbergo.
