Globotriosylceramide beta-1,6-N-acetylgalactosaminyl-transferase (EC 2.4.1.154, globoside N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase, uridine diphosphoacetylgalactosamine-glycosphingolipid acetylgalactosaminyltransferase, glycosphingolipid beta-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase, GalNAc transferase) is an enzyme with systematic name UDP-N-acetyl-D-galactosamine-globotriosylceramide beta-1,6-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase.[1] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

UDP-N-acetyl-D-galactosamine + globotriosylceramide UDP + globotetraosylceramide

The product has a terminal beta-N-acetylgalactosamine residue.
