Painted Hills is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Morgan County, Indiana, United States. Its population was 677 as of the 2010 census.[1] The community is located on the shores of Painted Hills Lake southeast of Martinsville.
Geography
Painted Hills is located at 39°23′44″N 86°20′46″W / 39.39568°N 86.34603°W. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the community has an area of 1.952 square miles (5.06 km2), of which 1.730 square miles (4.48 km2) is land and 0.222 square miles (0.57 km2) is water.[1]
