The 2017 Seattle mayoral election will be held on November 7, 2017, to elect the mayor of Seattle. Incumbent mayor Ed Murray has announced that he will seek a second term in office.[1]
Municipal elections in Washington are officially non-partisan. A non-partisan primary will be held on August 2017. The top two candidates with the most votes in the primary will advance to the November general election.
