The 2017 Los Angeles mayoral election will be held on May 16, 2017 to elect the mayor of Los Angeles.
Municipal elections in California are officially non-partisan. A non-partisan primary will be held on March 7, 2017. If no candidate receives a majority of the primary votes to be elected outright, the top two finishers will advance to the May general election.
