Trivento is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Campobasso in the Italian region Molise, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Campobasso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,200 and an area of 73.3 square kilometres (28.3 sq mi).[1]
Trivento borders the following municipalities: Castelguidone, Castelmauro, Civitacampomarano, Lucito, Roccavivara, Salcito, San Biase, Sant'Angelo Limosano, Schiavi di Abruzzo.
