United States Attorney for the Districts of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands

The District Court of Guam is the United States territorial court whose jurisdiction is the Territory of Guam.[1]

The District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands is the United States territorial court whose jurisdiction is the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.[2] Its jurisdiction encompasses the main islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota as well as the mostly uninhabited “Northern Islands” of the Commonwealth.

The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Guam represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court within the Territory of Guam.

The United States Attorney's Office for the District of the Northern Mariana Islands represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court within the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).

Although the Territory of Guam and the CNMI are separate federal districts and political entities, one United States Attorney is appointed to serve both districts.[3] This situation is unique within the entire United States.
