The 2014 season for Team Sky began in January at the Tour Down Under. As a UCI ProTeam, they are automatically invited and obliged to send a squad to every event in the UCI World Tour.

1. Rasch retired from the sport on 13 April, after completing Paris–Roubaix.^[2]
2. Tiernan-Locke was sacked by the team on 17 July, following his two-year suspension for biological passport irregularities.^[3]
