Bacon Township, Vernon County, Missouri

Bacon Township is one of twenty townships in Vernon County, Missouri, United States. Bacon Township is 47.2 square miles in land area and 1.0 square miles in water area. The township is located in the northeast part of the county. The population is 649. The population consists of 325 males (50.1%) and 324 females (49.9%). The small town of Schell City is included in the north-central part of the township. There are 14 people per square mile (36 people per square kilometer)
