Beaver Marsh Airport,[2] also known as Beaver Marsh State Airport,[1] (FAA LID: 2S2) is a public use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) southwest of Beaver Marsh, in Klamath County, Oregon, United States.[1] The airport is privately owned,[1] despite the name which might give the impression that it was owned by the state.

Facilities and aircraft

Beaver Marsh Airport covers an area of 46 acres (19 ha) at an elevation of 4,638 feet (1,414 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 18/36 with a soil dirt surface measuring 4,500 by 60 feet (1,372 x 18 m). For the 12-month period ending June 27, 2011, the airport had 150 general aviation aircraft operations, an average of 12 per month.[1]
