EPB 24/7 is a local cable-exclusive weather television channel owned by the Glasgow Electric Plant Board based in Glasgow, Kentucky, USA. The Glasgow Electric Plant Board it the local provider of cable television and electricity in the Glasgow area.[2] EPB 24/7 is offered on channel 9 on Glasgow EPB's basic cable lineup.[3]
Programming
EPB 24/7 provides local, regional, and national weather information and forecasts for the customers of the Glasgow EPB basic cable linup. Its other features include but not limited to radar images, and severe weather alerts when they go down. Like its sister channel, EPB 6, Advertisements on the channel include those of local merchants around the Glasgow and Barren County area.[4] It also features static advertising screens and soothing instrumental background music.[5]
The channel's screen layout is similar to those of the AccuWeather, and the now-defunct NBC Weather Plus. The exceptions are that the forecast on the bottom of the screen is specifically for the Glasgow area.
