Fishersburg is an unincorporated community in Stony Creek Township, Madison County, Indiana.
History
Fishersburg was laid out in 1837.[2] Charles Fisher started the first store.[3]
Fishersburg contained a post office from 1837 until 1904.[4]
Geography
Fishersburg is located at 40°04′19″N 85°51′34″W / 40.07194°N 85.85944°W, just west of the larger town of Lapel at the intersection of Indiana State Roads 32 and 13. It lies on the border with Hamilton County.
