Jorge Enrique González Torres Airport[3][4] (Spanish: Aeropuerto Jorge Enrique González Torres) (IATA: SJE, ICAO: SKSJ) is an airport serving San José del Guaviare, the capital of the Guaviare department in Colombia.

The airport resides at an elevation of 184.44 metres (605.1 ft) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 01/19 with an asphalt surface measuring 1,500 by 20 metres (4,921 ft × 66 ft).[1]

Trivia
This airport was used by the Colombian Air Force on July 2, 2008 during Operation Jaque in the course of which 15 hostages, including former Colombian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt were rescued.
