List of international cricket five-wicket hauls on Sri Lankan cricket grounds

Sri Lanka played their first international cricket in 1926–27, and were later awarded Test status in 1982, which made Sri Lanka the eighth Test cricket playing nation. The team played first international ODI during 1975 Cricket World Cup and has been underdogs since they won 1996 Cricket World Cup to become one of the best teams in the world today. They have gained T20I on 2006 against England. They won 2014 ICC World Twenty20 and top ranked in 32 years, which is most by any team in T20Is. Sri Lanka team also holds highest team totals of all three formats of the game.

There are many more world-famous cricket grounds in Sri Lanka. These pitches are renowned for spinning slow tracks, where most of the non-Indian subcontinent nations playing with more difficulty. R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo has hosted most international matches of all formats in the Sri Lanka.

In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five-for" or "fifer")^[1][2] refers to a bowler taking five or more wickets in a single innings. This is regarded as a notable achievement.^[3] The following list is about the five-wicket hauls taken at New Zealand cricket grounds.
