The Ninth Square Historic District in New Haven, Connecticut is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is located in the southeast section of Downtown New Haven and is a mixed use (business and residential) area and is part of the Town Green Special Services taxing district.

In 1984, it included 78 buildings, of which 72 were contributing buildings. The district is bounded by Church, Court, State, and Crown Streets, and is centered on the intersection of Chapel and Orange Streets. The buildings in the district are mostly late-19th and early 20th commercial buildings.[1][2]
