Parody film
A parody film is a subgenre of the comedy film that parodies other film genres or films as pastiches,[1][2][3] works created by imitation of the style of many different films reassembled together. Although the subgenre is often overlooked by critics, parody films are commonly profitable at the box office.[4] Mockbusters are another type of genre for parody films and the mixing of sci-fi, horror, war, thriller films also known as black comedy film. It is known as a sketch comedy film or a crossover humor film.
