The Robert Ostertag House, in Kansas City, Missouri, was designed by architect Mary Rockwell Hook. It was built in 1922. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, for its architecture, in 1983.[1][2]
It cost $15,000 and was built for Robert A. Ostertag, president of a tin can company.[2]
The Emily Rockwell Love House, which this backs up to, at 5029 Sunset, was also designed by Hook.[2]
