Vettikkavala is a village in Kollam district in the state of Kerala, India.[1]

As of 2001 India census, Vettikkavala had a population of 18930 with 9069 males and 9861 females.[1] vettikavala block panjayath grama panchayath, paalamukku,chirattakonam, thalachira, vaidhyasala, kaduvappara, valiyaditheri, pakisthan junction, pullipara, thengincode kokkadu chakkuvarakal are included.valiyadithri juma masjid is an oldest masjid under thalachira Muslim jamaath.maruthiyara waterfalls situated near paruthikuzhy.adayil water pool situated near jumamaasjid. kallada irrigation project near thengumcodu.kokkadu is a beautiful place with wild forest.

It is well connected to Kottarakkara by frequent bus services, and with Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram by two KSRTC Fast Passenger bus services. Kollam - Tirumagalam NH744 passed through Chengamanad which is situated 2 km away. Pathanapuram - Valakam Sabarimala Bye Pass pass through Vettikavala. Kadakkal-Chengamanad road is another important road passing through Vettikavala.
