Woodsmoor railway station is on the Buxton Line in Woodsmoor, a suburb of Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. It was opened by British Rail in 1990.

The station is ½ mile (800 m) from Stepping Hill Hospital.

Service

A half-hourly service operates towards Manchester Piccadilly northbound and Hazel Grove southbound Monday to Saturday daytime, with one train per hour continuing to Buxton (with extras at peak times). One daytime northbound service every hour continues through to Bolton, Preston and Blackpool North. During the evenings the service frequency drops to hourly each way (to Buxton and Manchester). There is also an hourly frequency in place on Sundays, with a few additional services between Southport and Hazel Grove.
