Kazhakoottam Railway Station (Code:KZK}\) is a railway station in the Indian city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.[1] The station falls under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division of the Southern Railway Zone of Indian Railways.

Significance

It is located at Kazhakoottam, which gained in significance because of proximity to Technopark, Sainik School, Kinfra Film and Video Park, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, DCSMAT media school, PRASAD film lab, Vismayas Max.[2]

Layout

The station currently has three platforms.Food Corporation of India(FCI) godown is situated in railway station premises.
