Mary Kuper "Kay" Papen[1][2] (born September 19, 1932 in El Paso, Texas)[3][4] is a Democratic member of the New Mexico Senate, representing the 38th District since 2001.[5] She is the current President pro tempore of the Senate being sworn in on January 15, 2013.
