Pflugerville Independent School District

Pflugerville Independent School District (PISD) is a public school district based in Pflugerville, Texas (USA). The District encompasses approximately ninety-five square miles and includes all or part of six municipalities including Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor and Round Rock.[1] As of 2013 PISD covers 10.7 square miles (28 km2) of land within the City of Austin, making up 3.4% of the city's territory.[2]

In 2011, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[3]

PISD has announced that in the school year of 2014–2015, they will open their twentieth elementary school.

High Schools (9–12)

Middle Schools (6–8)

State Representative Marsha Farney of District 20 in Williamson County, is a former counselor at Westview Middle School.[4]

Elementary/Primary Schools (Pre-K–5)

^Note 1 Dessau/Delco and Windermere Primary/Elementary are split up because of a large population in these schools' areas.

^Note 2 The students who went to Delco Primary will go to Dessau Elementary in 3rd grade.

^Note 3 The students who went to Windermere Primary will go to Windermere Elementary in 3rd grade.

^Note 4 Dearing Elementary School will open for the 2014-2015 school year.
