Tomaree High School is a secondary, state run high school located in Salamander Bay, a suburb of the Port Stephens Council local government area in New South Wales, Australia.

The school is best known for a crossbow shooting incident occurring in April 2003. The resulting shooting lead to the immediate evacuation of the school and subsequent closure for the day. Two 16-year-old girls were injured during the incident and the 16-year-old male was charged with attempted murder, two counts of maliciously wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a prohibited weapon and throwing an explosive.[2]
