Altkirch (French pronunciation: [alkiʁʃ]; Alsatian: Àltkìrech) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France.

The town is traditionally regarded as the capital of Sundgau; its name comes from the German Alte Kirche, i.e. old church.
