Lajedo, also as Lajedos or Lagedos is a settlement in the southcentral part of the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. Its 2010 population was 558. It is situated about 20 km west of the island capital Porto Novo. The settlements sits nearly the middle of Ribeira da Pratas, a 20 km long stream flowing south and a bit east starting from the area of Cirio in the northwest down to the Atlantic at Canal de São Vicente.

Localities includes Ponte Sul located in the south and Chã de Porto Noto located further southeast.

Lajedos is located on the road linking Porto Novo and Ribeira da Cruz in Norte.

Agriculture is one of the common industry in the settlement. Some of the tiny farms are in the west of Ponte Sul and southeast of Chã de Porto Novo, between 2005 and 2015, they had slowly expanded.

The football (soccer) club based in the settlement is Lajedos, the club's area serves the west of the parish of São João Batista and once formed one of two westernmost clubs in the whole of Africa (the mainland and the islands). It was the only club in the area until 2014 when Tarrafal FC de Monte Trigo based in the west started to compete. The first competition was in the mid to late 2000s Their only success was a single title of the Santo Antão Cup.
