Synaptotagmin-7 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SYT7 gene.^[3][4]

Function

Synaptotagmins, such as SYT7, are brain-specific calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins that play a role in synaptic exocytosis and neurotransmitter release. See MIM 600782.[supplied by OMIM]^[4]

SYT7 has been shown to interact with SYNCRIP.^[5]
