Shōtoku (era)

Shōtoku (正徳) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō,, lit. "year name") after Hōei and before Kyōhō. This period spanned the years from April 1711 through June 1716.[1] The reigning emperor was Nakamikado-tennō (中御門天皇).[2]
