Vasanth Nagar is a neighbourhood located in the central part of the city of Bangalore.A small neighbourhood residing many retired government officials and MLA's. The home of the French embassy also is situated here. Surrounded by major landmarks,offices,hotels and roads, this area has turned commercial now. Shangri-la hotel, luxury business hotel chain who have hotels at central location in major cities, has opened here on Palace road overlooking vasanthnagar.The Bangalore Palace is a five minutes walk and the Vidhan Soudha is just two kilometres from here. [1][2] It is at a distance of 5 km from Majestic. It is bounded by Seshadripuram, Palace Guttahalli, Shivajinagar and Bangalore Cantonment.This neighbourhood is seeing a rise in luxury apartments due to its location.
