Hugo Primozic (16 February 1914 – 18 March 1996) was a German soldier during World War II. In a five-month period of fighting he was a recipient of the two grades of the Iron Cross, the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, awarded by Nazi Germany for extreme battlefield bravery. On 25 January 1943, Primozic became the first noncommissioned officer in the German Army, and seventh in the Wehrmacht, to be awarded the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves.[1]
