Kurt Witschel (26 March 1915 – 14 April 1992) was a highly decorated Hauptmann (captain) who served in the Wehrmacht during World War II and in the postwar Bundeswehr. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery.
