Satavahana Express, is an Intercity Express running between Vijayawada and Secunderabad in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state. The Vijayawada Division of South Central Railways of Indian Railways administers this train. The train covers 351 kilometres (218 mi) in just 5 hours and 35 minutes.[1]

The train halts at Kazipet, Warangal, Kesamudram, Mahabubabad, Khammam and Madhira before reaching Vijayawada Junction.This is the one of highest fastest train(train no.12713) in south central railway running of 134kmph between Madhira and Khammam.This is the one of Intercity expresses that depart from Vijayawada early in the morning. The other are Pinakini Express and Ratnachal Express.
