Požega (Serbian Cyrillic: Пожега, pronounced [pôʒeɡa]) is a town and municipality located in the Zlatibor District of Serbia. The population of the town is 13,153, while the municipality has 29,638 inhabitants. During the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the town was named Užička Požega, to be distinguished from Slavonska Požega, now in Croatia.
