Salford City Council election, 2016
The 2016 Salford City Council election took place on 5 May 2016 to elect members of Salford City Council in England. This is on the same day as other local elections and the Salford Mayoral election.[1] In April 2016, it was revealed that the Liberal Democrats would not be fielding any candidates in Salford.[2]
This result had the following consequences for the total number of seats on the council after the elections:[3][4]
